About the company

Sunny Development Group (SDG) is a real estate developer. It builds apartments, townhouses and villas in Bali, Indonesia, and in Phuket, Thailand. The group trades under the Sunny Holding brand (sunnyholding.com); Sunny Development is its development company. Sunny Holding, Sunny Development Group, SDG and Sunny DG are names of the same group.

Sunny Samudra in Uluwatu used to be called Sunny Ocean View. Its awards and older listings use the old name.

Delivered: 10 projects, all in Bali.
Under way in Bali: Luma Biohacking Resort in Uluwatu (final stage of construction), Luma Biohacking Ubud (under construction) and Amara Wedding Resort in Amed (early stage).

Experience and countries

The company says it has been on the real estate market since 2011. Its current legal entities were registered in Indonesia in 2021 and in Thailand in 2023 (see Legal entities above). The company has built in Bali (Indonesia) and Phuket (Thailand). It has also announced projects in Portugal and Costa Rica.
